1. What are your office hours and location?

From 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. The drive thru is open for payments and reconnection from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday-Friday. Customer Service is located at 3667 Main Street
College Park, GA 30337

2. What payment methods do you take?

Currently bills can be paid via mail or in-person. We take cash, check, money orders, and debit cards. Effective February 2009, you will also be able to pay online or by phone with debit/credit cards or by check.

3. Can service be reconnected after hours?

After-hours payments or reconnections can be processed through the drive-thru window from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday - Friday. The entire balance plus a $6.00 reconnection fee is required
for after hour reconnections.

4. Do you have a budget billing plan?

The City does have a budget billing program. You must have 12 months of
continuous service at the same address and all payments must have been
made before the due date.

5. How do I establish new residential utility service?

Applicant must come in and apply in person. Information including; name, social
security number, date of birth, address and mailing address (if different), driver’s
license or other form government picture identification, lease agreement (for lease
or rental), deed or settlement statement for owners. In addition a deposit will have
to be paid at the time of application. The deposit requirements are:

1. Non Total Electric
• One bedroom $ 75.00
• Two bedrooms $125.00
• Three or more bedrooms $150.00

2. Total Electric
• One bedroom $125.00
• Two bedrooms $175.00
• Three or more bedrooms $200.00

6. How do I establish new commercial utility service?

Applicant must come in and apply in person. Information including; name, social
security number or tax identification number, address and mailing address (if different),
lease agreement (for lease or rental), deed or settlement statement for owners and
evidence of application for a business license with the City must be verified. In addition
a deposit will have to be paid at the time of application. The deposit will be based on two
times the average projected monthly billing. Deposits can be paid by cash,
check, money order or with a payment bond if the amount is $500 or more.

7. What is the latest time I can come in and have utility service started up the same day?

To have utility service started up on the same day you must complete the application
process by 3:00 PM, otherwise service will be scheduled for the next business day.

8. Why are my billings so high?

Factors such as seasonal temperature variations, malfunctioning thermostats and additional
people in a household can cause increases. For more detailed information, contact customer service at 404-669-3759.

9. Can I make payment arrangements?

Payment arrangements may be made once every six months or twice a year. Call customer service at 404-669-3759 to get an extension on time to pay your bill.
