The City of College Park through the Metropolitan North Georgia Water District offers a rebate in the amount of $50.00 for each ultra-low flush toilet (ULFT) purchased and $100.00 for each high-efficiency toilet (HET) purchased. Residents must meet the requirements set forth by the District with a maximum two (2) toilets limit per single family home.

• Own or rent a single family residential home built in 1993 or earlier
• Receive a water bill from one of the participating water systems
• Are up to date on you water bill payments
• Purchase an eligible toilet after September 28, 2007 and have the original receipt

The public is invited to celebrate with the Boy Scouts of America, as the South Fulton scouts and cubs commemorate the organizations' 100th year with a tree planting and dedication at College Park City Hall. Join City Planner and Arborist Bill Johnston on Saturday, February 6th at 2:00pm. Two six-foot oak trees will be placed in-ground on that date.

A formal dedication will follow on Monday, February 8th at 5:30pm. A number of invited guests including local citizens, scouts and members of the College Park Mayor and Council are expected for the installation of brass plaques.

The Conley Recreation center on College Street offers new programs for children and adults. Tutoring sessions, cultural dance and other popular programs are offered through the city of College Park's recreation department.
