College Park Establishes Stormwater Utility
In an effort to improve College Park's Stormwater Management needs, the City Council approved a new stormwater management utility fee effective July 1, 2007. The fee will be used to provide resources to reduce flooding, erosion, and water pollution while preserving trees, homes and businesses in the City.

Residents will not be charged for this fee until September 2007; however, the initial charge will accrue retroactive to the implementation date of July 1. Each month thereafter each residence will be charged a fixed rate every 30 day period. click here for frequently asked questions.

State Burn Ban Extended
A state burn ban had been In effect from May 1st-Sept. 30th. The ban has been extended indefinitely due to the Drought 4 status. During the ban, there is no outside burning of leaves, brush, branches allowed. Only business or home barbecuing is allowed. When grilling, please take steps to ensure caution. Please have an extinguisher available.
