College Park, GA - The City of College Park hosts the ninth annual CityFest, a free music and arts festival Saturday, August 15th at 3:00PM inside the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park.

CityFest, the fastest growing free event in the south metro area, has an impressive list of performers for 2015, headlined by Howard Hewett, the original lead singer of 70s-80s trio "Shalamar."  Hewett continued to build a huge following as a solo act, expanding into the faith-based genre with "Say Amen" and "Show Me."

Guests can look forward to some hometown entertainment from Trumpeter & Vocalist Milkshake, Men of Praise and DraKarr & An Experience.

College Park CityFest, with Mixx Master Mitch as master of ceremonies, is expected to draw up to 4,000 guests; special recognition will be given to community leaders and volunteers making an impact on the City of College Park.

Local vendors, health and wellness booths, city departments and children's area will all be on display during the event.  The doors open at 3:00PM and the music begins at 4:00PM.

The Georgia International Convention Center is located off Camp Creek Parkway at 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, Georgia 30337.
