College Park Public Safety Academy

In an effort to better serve and engage with the citizens we serve, the College Park Police and Fire Departments are combining forces to host our next “Citizen’s Public Safety Academy” beginning October 15th and continuing through December 10th.  Topics covered will concern public safety as a whole and will be taught by members of the two agencies.  Topics may include Drugs, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid, Traffic Enforcement, Crime Prevention, CPR, Firearms, and much more information that will allow citizens to engage with and learn from those serving their community. Meetings will be held every Thursday evening at 3717 College Park, GA 30337 in College Park Community Room, each session lasting approximately 2 hours from 6pm -8pm. We will practice social distancing and the option of participating virtually is also available if desired.

Interested Parties should contact the College Park Police

Department Training Division 404-761-3131

or email

Because the nature of the training may require access to secure areas of the facility, all students will be required to pass a background check and sign a Liability waiver.  Please call or email for further information.
