BIDA Board Vacancy - Deadline is April 30th

Clearly College ParkThe City of College Park is seeking to fill and at-large position with BIDA, the city's Business and Industrial Development Authority.  Residents should apply by noon, Thursday, April 30th.

Here's a summary of the qualifications necessary to be considered for the at-large BIDA board position:

·        The applicant must have resided within the City of College Park at least 6 months

·        The applicant is not the holder of public funds who has refused or failed to account for and pay over such funds to the proper officer

·        The applicant have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude

·        They are willing to submit to a background and criminal check

·        If a determination is made that the applicant omitted or has been untruthful about facts related to the above qualifications, the applicant agrees this would be cause for removal from the board

·        Submission of a letter of interest addressed to the Mayor and City Council

·        Submission of a resume
