Fulton County Government relaunched its COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance application period at noon on Monday, August 2, 2021, providing an opportunity for residents in need of rental and utility assistance to apply for relief.  Through the Emergency Rental Assistance program, qualifying Fulton County residents outside the City of Atlanta may apply for temporary rental and utility assistance to cover eligible expenses including rent, delinquent rent, past due gas, water and electrical utilities incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible applicants may qualify for $1,300 per month in rental assistance, and up to $200 per month to cover past due utilities.  The second allocation of federal Emergency Rental Assistance opens eligibility to more residents, and allows for a longer period of relief.

Applicants should carefully review the qualifications and application. To apply online, go to www.fultoncountyga.gov/renthelp or call 885-776-7912 to speak to a live agent.  Representatives available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to assist callers with completing their applications.
