Senior/Disabled Utility Credit Application

The Mayor & City Council of College Park have arranged for each resident of the City of College Park who is a senior citizen or who is disabled be granted a One-Time Power Senior and Disabled Utility Credit contingent on that homeowner's homestead status. The City finds that utility credits can help alleviate the burden of utility costs and ensure that seniors and people with disabilities have access to essential services such as: water, gas and electric without sacrificing other necessities.

Each senior citizen or disabled resident of College Park, having an existing homestead exemption will be granted a Utility Credit for the Net Municipal Taxes due after the existing homestead exemption is applied. Those who qualify will receive a credit equivalent to their 2022 City tax bill (only the City of College Park's portion paid in 2022.) If the homeowner vacates the property prior to the full credit being expended, the remaining credit will be voided.

Below is the digital version of the City of College Park Senior/Disabled Credit Application. Please review and confirm your eligibility. Applications are being accepted starting August 1, 2023 until September 29, 2023.
