The City of College Park is advancing its commitment to revitalization and economic growth with the groundbreaking of the Blue Sky Apartments, a 180-unit affordable housing development on the Godby Road corridor.
The Blue Sky project is one of the first major milestones in a broader plan to reimagine the corridor with smart growth, inclusive development and expanded opportunity. City officials, stakeholders and community members gathered to commemorate this pivotal step in Ward III, led by Councilwoman Tracie Arnold (Ward 3).
“Blue Sky is one of the first of many exciting projects to come along the Godby Road corridor. We are ushering in a season of renewal that prioritizes smart growth, inclusive development, and opportunity for all. The energy around Godby Road is building — and today, we take a powerful step forward,” said Arnold.
