
The doors open at 9 a.m. for registration and breakfast. It will be a day that promises to address the unique challenges faced by individuals aged 65 and older within Fulton County.
In partnership with the Fulton County Senior Services Department, this year’s Summit will feature Fulton Chief Probate Judge Kenya Johnson, Atlanta Legal Aid, Georgia Council on Aging, Crimes Against the Disabled and Elderly Task Force (CADE), and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). The AARP Foundation will also be on-site ready to assist those looking for work. Interested seniors are encouraged to bring updated resumes.
Registration is underway and is scheduled to close on Friday, May 23. In addition to the Summit registration, seniors must register for to participate in the following activities:
• Line dance
• Bingo
• Sound bowls/ yoga session
• Casino games
• H.J.C. Bowden Barbershop Podcast *free barber onsite
For seniors who choose to drive, complimentary parking will be provided at the Georgia International Convention Center.
